Videos of Mission at Work

Missionaries, both short-term and long-term, are actively engaging people of different cultures from around the world. With the advances of technology and movies readily being recorded even on cell phones and posted to popular venues like You Tube, our mission teams and personnel too are taking part in this exciting way of communicating. We invite you to view the following videos as well as submit your own mission videos.

Young Adult Service Corps

This video is a collection of reflections from young missionaries serving in the Young Adult Service Corps. Another great resource for mission education in congregations and dioceses is Windows on Mission, a series on two DVDs following the work of a dozen Episcopal missionaries. Download the Windows on Mission study guide here.

Our Little Roses

In Honduras where the plight of abused and abandoned girls was once ignored, the ministry of Our Little Roses home has become an oasis of hope and opportunity for the girl child at risk. God has truly blessed this ministry shown in the transformed lives of once destitute girls. It began with a vision given to Doctor Diana Frade of hope with life-changing dimensions for physically and emotionally abused girls as well as orphans.

Randall Giles - Missionary Serving in South India

Randall Giles, Ph.D. in music composition and history, has been serving within the Church of South India's (CSI) Diocese of Chennai since 2000. "Lift Up Your Voice" explores the place music plays in worship. Randall studies local music and reflects on how it can shape a more meaningful liturgy among new Christians.
